  A lot of people will tell you never buy non-Made-in-USA Wahl trimmers.

  They are very very very correct. Huge quality difference.

    Shavershop always doing the cheap Wahl kit deal for like 30 or 50. They are China made and the quality is very bad.

    I thought I'd but the attachment for my US Wahl but they do not fit. (you can force it but it's verrry tight)

    Wahl Magic Clip and Wahl Senior used to be Made in USA but since COVID they are now Made in Hungary so if you are really keen on buying Made in USA, it’s best to call the store and confirm beforehand if buying from a store. With Amazon returns are easy anyway if that matters.

    I was only interested in buying the Made in USA one so I bought Wahl Senior metal edition which is still Made in USA.

          @chutibuti: Because the Amazon description says Made in USA doesn’t mean that it actually is Made in USA as most of the time Amazon doesn’t update the description. When I was interested in buying one, I enquired with most of the brick and mortar stores that had Senior cordless in stock and all of them confirmed that their stock was Made in Hungary and only one Made in USA was Senior metal limited edition.

        @BlitzR if ordering from Amazon there is no way to tell that until you actually have one in hand. Amazon description isn’t always accurate. For that reason I purchased one from a physical store where I requested them to check the box to confirm where it was made. I requested them to match the lowest available online price, which they did. I was told that Senior Cordless Metal edition is the only Senior that is now Made in USA. The normal Senior cordless is now Made in Hungary since COVID but in future it could be made in USA again once/ if the manufacturing in USA resumes.

  I bought mine a year ago to cut my own hair at home (made in Hungary) . The kmart one I had would miss hairs and I'd have to finish it up with scissors. This is far superior.

  My only skepticism about it is that the on off switch is made from thin plastic. It'd surely break off it it was dropped. Don't forget to clean and oil it after each use.
