Isn’t Australian 44 dollars atm? I don’t think US and Australia have different catalogues

    • $44 for what?

      • Do I have to pay for the SportsLine subscription too? It says $12.49 for a quarterly sub.

        • That’s what you are paying for. It includes Paramount plus. Use coupon code to bring that price down

          • @Pricebeat: Oh OK. How do I get an annual US Paramount+ subscription? Do I choose the annual SportsLine sub?

And you mentioned try to cancel the service in step 9, but don't cancel it?

            • @Ice009:

Do I choose the annual SportsLine sub?

Yes and use the coupon code EQUINOX23

And you mentioned try to cancel the service in step 9, but don't cancel it?

Yes, this is to get few extra months for free. When you try to cancel service after using it for few months, then they offer few extra months for free. But don’t actually cancel until the end of your service

              • @Pricebeat: Alright, thanks. I will give it a go a bit later or try and do it tomorrow. Do you have a subscription yourself?

And where do you enter the code? On the payment screen? Is the payment credit card only? Is there a Paypal option?

                • -1

                  @Ice009: Yes I do.

Code should be entered at the checkout page. Only credit/debit cards. No PayPal

                  • @Pricebeat: Also, for the VPN, should that not be turned on when signing up at Sportsline and doing the payment? Only turn that on when verifying the Sportsline account?

                  • @Pricebeat: For your address at Sportsline billing page did you put a US address? It seems you can select AU as the country

                    • @Ice009: I used US address

                      • @Pricebeat: I just did it all now. I just used a US address.

I think I have done it all correctly as I used my old Paramount+ US account from last year (I would have thought it would have been cancelled by now as it was inactive for a while) to keep my old watch history. I'm just about to try it now to see if it streams OK, but since it's showing me access, I assume I've done it correctly.

So to cancel the subscription (I just got to SportsLine website - What is SportsLine anyway? Some sort of betting website? I haven't had a chance to look at the website properly yet), I just go to "account details" and cancel it there a month before it's set to renew next year? I wonder if they'll have a similar offer? Do you normally keep a Paramount+ US subscription year round for yourself?

  • The US library is definitely much bigger than the AU one. Question is, is it still a separate service? Last time I had the US version of Paramount+, you couldn't change between regions as the US one I think was it's own separate service. Not sure if that has changed now as it's been well over a year since I've had the US version.

  • revolut did not work for me. any other options? tried suncorp -declined.

  • I went to the second link in a separate tab while my VPN is connected to US.
Page name: "Create a Paramount+ Account Next, we'll link your SportsLine account to a Paramount+ account. This will be your Paramount+ login". Entered the same information I entered for Sportline account but keep getting this error "Could not create your account, please try again later".

    More info:

    — VPN: NordVPN
    — Address in Sportline account: US address

Any suggestions or you know how to solve this issue?

    • Did you get this fixed? Sorry that I can't help as I already had a Paramount+ account without a subscription, so I just reused that old account I had.
Maybe it was your VPN that wasn't showing your region as being in the US properly?
