  • What is this sub deal you speak of?

    • use coupon - subdeal at the checkout on the Sonos Sub

      • wont stack discount codes, tried

        • -1

Purchase them on seperate transactions this is what others have done :)

          • -5

@WCHIFI: So to clarify instead of fixing an issue you guys have, i have to work around it? yeahh nahhhh

            • @quikstix: @quikstix if you used the arcdeal coupon on the Entertainment bundle (arc & sub) you would be cheaper. Your choice if you don't purchase :)

              • -7

@WCHIFI: and a reply like that just guaranteed i wont ever be buying anything from you

                • @quikstix: Why are you acting so fragile? Was your Christmas ok?

                  • -1

@pantsparty: It was terrible, first my nan…. jokes!

Not fragile at all, end of the day their prices are about the same as everyone elses and instead of fixing a bug they expect the consumer to place multiple orders. Just didnt appreciate the reply and im in the market to spend a good few grand so helps my decision :) Just like they said my choice if i dont purchase, i replied saying i wont be :)

                    • @quikstix: @quikstix just to clarify there was no bug it is how we created the coupons. There is seperate coupons on each individual product or if you utilise the arcdeal coupon on the bundle it will be a cheaper outcome all together.

This mean't no need to create a stack for the coupons as we thought people would appreciate the cheaper option.

                      • -1

@WCHIFI: To be honest, my reply was based on you saying purchase each separate. It wasnt based on when you later said about the arcdeal reply.

                        • @quikstix: @quikstix no worries I just wanted to be clear that the outcomes both work with one making it a cheaper alternative then seperate. Also no derogatory meaning with the choice to purchase :)

Just tried my unidays code and it doesnt stack. Price went to $1274.15

      From unidays:

      Terms & Conditions

      Excludes sale items
Discount is available to verified UNiDAYS members only. This is a single use code and cannot be used in combination with any other discount code(s), vouchers and/or promotions.

      • Thanks for confirming, unfortunately I couldn't test it as I can't generate a new code for another 9000 minutes from helping out some people the last time they were after Sonos gear.

    • Doesn’t stack with Boxing Day discount

What's with the last sold price in the title?

This or the Bose 900 for $699 at JB?

    • +3

I don't think bose are that great anymore but haven't heard the 900. The 700 is overrated

      • +2

Bose is utter garbage these days. Return rate is astronomical

        • Sounds about right from how I feel about them. Gone are their days when they are the top of their game like back in the 90s

    • @waygood_deals Sonos sounds much better imo

      • -3

Couldn't resist the Bose price in the end 😄

  • Good price!

Rumored Arc 2 coming in 2024.

    • Emphasis on late 2024 though, sub mini and headphones to come first

    • About time!!!
The era 300 overpowers the arc.

I think if the arc 2 decently improves the drivers, I might switch from my Samsung q900a

  • This or Samsung q990c? Trying to convince the wife to let me buy a new sound bar

    • Am in the same dilemma 😔

    • I was planning to do this (with 2x rear SL ones) and use my Klipsch subwoofer but the guy at JB advised that the sonos doesn't pair well with third party woofers and that I would need an amp so the woofer would work? So might end up doing the Q990c now as seems cheaper and less complicato…

      • +1

You aren't able to run a 3rd party subwoofer with the Arc. You can add a subwoofer via subwoofer input in the Sonos Amp but that defeats the purpose.

You will find that the Sonos Arc & Sub will give you a much more immersive and flexible experience with the ecosystem as compared to the Q990C and if you try to even compare the 2 when it comes to music it is not even close !!!

        • Thanks for the info!

    • If movies and atmos matter more to you, go with the q990c . It's unbelievable value for money and you will be more than happy.

If you are invested in the Sonos system and can afford to buy the sub and possibly invest in more sonos gear and can afford the premium buy the arc and sub.

Simply put , if its movies and first foray into soundbars,q990c is all you need and is future proof

      • Yeah purely buying it for watching movies and don't think I can justify another 1k for the sonos sub. Sounds like the q990c is all we need. Cheers!

        • Yep it is for 90 percent of people.
          Sonos performs.better for music..
On saying that my eyes are peeled on how well the arc 2 is.. it might overtake Samsung.

at $1089 it’s a fine deal worth posting - posting RRP though is a bit rich when there’s regularly 10-20% deals everywhere on the Arc.

  • Is the premium worth it over Samsung?

Was looking at either going mid range q800c, waiting for q900c release or this plus sub

    • +2

There are a treasure trove of YouTube videos comparing the two setups. I recommend checking them out.

  • I got the Q990c for $1200 with the G3 I just ordered and was about to pull the trigger on this but for 2-4x the price including the sub and eras, couldn't justify it.

    • Good choice

  • This or 2 x HomePod gen 2?

  • +1

Pair them with ikea symphonix or the one xl pair on the other deal. Be aware these have only hdmi earc port, so your TV is the hdmi switch. The q990c has multiple inputs. Q990c is value for money while this is premium with mix and match of other sonos products part of the ecosystem.

For smaller rooms I'll recommend the beam and sub mini with 2nd hand symphonix pair. Start with just the beam by itself which must people would be happy with.

    • I have the Beam on its own and it’s great. Used it to replace my old Harman Kardon amp / B&W 5.1 speakers and very happy with the result. Not as good as my original setup but good enough and worth it to mot have cables running to various speakers.
