if anyone is bored and has some spare time any chance of putting a parts list together for a budget-friendly gaming pc just to run racing games. will be running on a 50 inch 4k tv with 60fps main games will be forza and most likely i racing budgets $500-1000 ive got a 1080 in my current pc that i can utilise if there's a cheap alternative to run on my productivity pc

sorry mate, never seen this. thanks for your input. my current pc is my productivity one and its about 20 meters away sadly. ill keep a look out for some bargains around here.
Are you talking Horizon 5 or Motorsport? I have the base version of this 3080 build and FH5 is brilliant on Ultra but the new Motorsport is a hog, I have to trim the settings to achieve even 50 frames. This is on a 1440p ultrawide, not sure how much worse it would be in 4k.
hows the ffb with motorsport on pc? been tweaking mine on xbox for 2 months now and it still feels proper shit! yeah i would mainly be playing motorsport so id need a bloody ti or 3090?
I haven't played with my G920 at all, it's not 100% but I don't have the grievances that others do, ripple strips etc are there and I can feel where the grip is via the load through the wheel. I don't love the game as much as I thought I would but online racing is still good fun.
GPU depends what else you want to play on the PC I guess. I know it blows the budget apart but if I was building something today I'd look at a 4070ti build for best bang for buck and a bit of longevity - bare in mind that the 3080 is more than 3 years old now, the 4070ti has only been out for a year(ish).
yeah honestly going from motorsport 7 to the new one one a csl dd setup has been a massive dissapointment ffb wise. i keep finding myself turning the new one off and going back to 7.

4k60p on a $500-1000 budget only leaves an XBox or PS5 ;)
The graphics card alone for 4k @ 60p will blow your $500-$1000 budget :/
