Nestle Cappuccino Topping 1kg $0.40 Office Works

271

This is NOT the chocolate sprinkle. It is like a milk powder that goes in machines and can become frothy. I just brought some so currently have stock. I saw this posted about 3 mths ago on here and it was $3 each so good deal for $0.40. First time Poster so please let me know if I have done something incorrectly. Other then that enjoy :)

No stock showing for Brisbane 4000, other states and locations may and will vary it seems :)

    (Didn't realise I had set a location)

  • The online purchase option worked for me. Allowed 10 units (total $4.00) for pick up at the Glebe NSW store.

    • Have you checked the expiry date?

No. And I don't drink the stuff, either. If it's in-date, my folks might enjoy plowing their way through it. If it's out of date, I'll tape two packs together - and end up with 5 x 2kg soft-sided door stops (at just $0.80ea). #win ;-)

        • Love your thinking :)

Please contact 1300 OFFICE (1300 633 423) to and discuss the best before date of this product and they will be able to get in contact with our delivery centres. Different stock around the country has different best before dates.

    • I also purchased 10! Although they only gave me 1 when I went to pick it up in store. Do they ship things to the stores in instalments?

      • Did you prepay for 10 though?

This is NOT the chocolate sprinkle

That's where the deal ended for me.
You had me so excited. So very excited.

    • Sorry :( I thought it was at first too.

  • Sorry guys should have mentioned I purchased for postcode 2560

      Good to know !

  • Just picked mine up yesterday in store after purchasing online. Unfortunately I purchased before I knew it wasn't chocolate topping… live and learn I guess :P

  • Thanks, I bought 4 of them for pickup at Morley store. That's like 1 years supply for us.

I'm going to freeze some of them.

There's a heap of sugar in it, so if you aerosolized it, yes I would imagine so! ;)

  • I think I just brought the last lot. Anyone else able to order more?

  • I ordered 10 online on fri 20/10 for pick at local officeworks - just got a call that it is not available and they refunded me… rang them - not available at all. no stock even instore.

  • So now I have 10kg of sugary milk powder.. My girlfriend thinks i'm crazy! I have no idea what to do with the stuff!! Tips? :)

    • Do you also have a $50 note, a mirror & a credit card handy…

  • Did anyone actually receive their order? Was there any order in stock in any stores in Sydney? Apparently there wasn't any stock at Bondi Junction or the City and they had to order it in. Today I received this email:

"You recently placed an order that resulted in a Backorder on 19th October

    Product: NE102639

    Description: QW - Nestle Cappuccino Topping Pack $0.40 x 2 = $0.80
    Sales Order Number: 114906686

Unfortunately this product has been discontinued by our suppliers and no further orders can be fulfilled.

We will be cancelling the Backorder on your behalf.

    Officeworks apologises for this inconvenience."

    Not good enough Officeworks.

    • Hey Juzz, I picked up my two today. They have a best before stamp of 04NOV2012. My store was Braddon, ACT and it did come in an oversize box which I left with them.

I didn't get a phone call to pick it up but I was able to track the order online.

  • "This stock has reached its use by and needs to be destroyed"

There should be some regulation to make expiry dates of stock specific to any online purchase as it is in-store. Of course this would take more time to update online pages for those in charge of administering online orders but it should replicate the experience of buying a product in store with ingredients, country of origin expiry date clearly listed. I have noticed that some sites such as COTD have started to include expiry dates on their disposables. I purchased some lollies and they were a month out from expiry but that was not stated. In the year since they have rectified this issue. However online re-sellers of edible produce really need to make important information like expiry explicit on the pages of sale.
