The sale quantity was mentioned earlier (we had 10 at this price).
Sorry if my terminology was not understood.I raised the available quantities on the website to allow people to 'check out the deal', which reserves the selected quantities for a short period of time.
If I was to leave the quantity at 11, it would mean that the people only 'checking out the deal' would be prohibiting the people that actually want to purchase the deal from doing so.
The quantity was raised to 20 so there was an available 'buffer' for people to investigate the deal, without it being sold out.
We actually had 12 sales, 2 of them which will be out of pocket for (and will still honour the discount), this allowed others to explore the deal. Sorry for any confusion.
In the future, with a better understanding of the popularity of these deals we will be able to purchase more available stock at the discounted rates.
We have now officially sold out of the quantities for this deal.

How would you sell 10 items that you had acquired cheaper?
Additionally the price was never 'bumped up', they were always the price they are now,
we just managed to acquire a handful cheaper,
and passed on the savings to our clients with a coupon code.
