Real leather would probably be okay. It's pleather that sucks.
oh it's just a preference thing, i hate all leather things, we have leather couches, i put sheets over them :p
same with my DXRacer, put an oodie on it.

$350 premium just for wireless is kinda crazy.
Arctis 5's were sub $100 in 2015.
They have inbetween wireless models, probably not an accurate comparison.
This is more in line with the dual battery arctis pros.

Exactly, comparing the arctis 5s to these isnt really fair.
if you have a goxlr or rodecaster pro or duo, these aren't very useful to you, but if you have no mixer then this isn't a real mixer at all so you will still have no mixer if you get this lol, but you will be able to switch sound options.
Looks like back to 499 on JB HiFi as well if you wanted to click and collect today

I'd recommend getting those pass through covers from Etsy so that you can charge without removing the caps, or easily take the battery cover off.
Hmm if I’m going to spend $499 on a gaming headset I’d choose Audeze Maxwell.
I wouldnt recommended it. Had it for 4 months and had return it twice paying shipping. Sure sound is good but at cost of durability. The issue i had twice was one of the speakers failing and it seems to be a bigger issue than i thought. Even though they gave me a brand new the second time it still broke the same way. None of the reviews mention since they only have it for couple if weeks.
Isn't this just the standard price? Literally everywhere has it for $499
When this was posted most were $649 including JB etc, About an hour after this they adjusted pricing to match.
Quite enjoying mine, managed to grab mine for $370 brand new off ebay though, and got some velour pads from aliexpress, I hate leather on my ears.
