How to Update Wii from 4.2e to 4.3

hi guys i tried googling this and no help that i can find, im stuck with a wii stuck on 4.2 im trying to update to 4.3, their servers are down so cant update with wifi. i tried to update through disk, didnt work. at least. i was told wii sports resort but it just luaches into game, no option to update.. so i brought this game for no reason
anyone have any ideas what to do ? its not modded

    Best thing I did was soft-mod mine

    But from a quick google, Modmii sounds like the way to go

      but it needs to be modded for that? and cant be modded unless im on 4.3?

            @Rukiata: It's easy to mod a Wii. Better to mod a WiiU though for the HDMI port, though some argue the WiiU makes Wii games look worse, but you can correct that with mods.

    Why do you feel you need to?
    All indications are that the later game console updates are just there to block homebrew Looks like it adds usb2 support
