Adobe Creative Cloud + 100GB TL₺106/Month (~A$5.36), TL₺1272/Yr (~A$64.33) @ Adobe Student (VPN Req, Student Email Not Req)

1550

Half the price of the normal Turkish price and they don’t check student status
Choose the student sub (the 127 TRY one) and enter 1234567890 as your vat code and it will deduct another 20 TRY

Pretty good price, I subbed using NordVPN to turkey, not sure if it’s required or not

    • Revolut physical or digital card? I had the same error message initially but Revolut gave the option of approving the transaction (digital). 2nd time worked fine.

      • +1

I tried both physical and digital. It might be my VPN? My purevpn just finished and i haven't found a new one. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

  • Thank you OP. I used a free VPN and Ultimate gift card and it worked.

  • I've set this up. Failed with my UK credit card, so had to setup a Wise Digital debit card – which worked.

Only issue is that the website on my Brave browser is in Turkish and I can't find the English translate option – any ideas?

Also, when I sign into the the Adobe account it asks for my Mobile number (it states for easier account access). Obviously don't have a Turkish mobile, so didn't put my AUS mobile. Has anyone tried using their AU mobile an had issues?

Also, does VPN set to Turkey need to be all the time for Adobe Creative Cloud to work, or just for the sign up process..

    • Did it successfully with a Wise card. Wasn't asked for a mobile number. Just email.

VPN needs to be activated during sign up/payment only.

      Can use normally after.

      • Yes, same – with a Wise Digital debit card. During sign up only email also. But when logging into account for the first time it asked for my mobile number twice. I skipped it

Ok, thanks (you mean through the Adobe Creative Cloud application)

  • I have to create a new email account for signing up Adobe account because it will allow me to set up Turkey as the country in Adobe to change all payments to TRY. Otherwise if I use previous Adobe accounts it keeps turning back into AUD.

  • Thanks OP, bought using Wise and a VPN.

If you're concerned that the BS VAT number is going to cause grief down the line, in Turkey they use "2222222222" as a VAT number for foreigners with no citizenship to cancel out VAT.

  • I have the 980,400 a year plan, got it last june, trying to change my billing details bc that card is going to expire, ive tried NAB, revolut and wise as well, it keeps saying "The process may fail for various reasons. Double-check your payment information and make sure you entered it correctly. If this problem persists, you may need to use a different payment method or contact your bank." - same issue as PropertyPig

    any advice?
EDIT: used windscribe VPN turkey - confirmed istanbul via whatismyip - still not working, same issue

  • I was able to get this a couple of weeks ago using Windscribe and ING Card.

So far I have just activated Acrobat, but every so often the program is all in Turkish! How do I fix that problem so that it is always in English?

Someone sent me a document the other day from the Adobe Cloud, and the program opened in Turkish. Google Chrome does allow me to change the language but it is not always fully effective.

I know I shouldn't complain when I got this software at a bargain basement price, but….. I do not know one word of Turkish, and I do not intend to learn. Got my hands full learning German with my bargain priced Duolingo Super :-)

  • Is the free Windscribe VPN workable for Turkey?

    • Yes, Turkey is one of the countries available in the free version of Windscribe.

    • Yes, you can use the browser extension without the full app.

  • Had the same payment errors as some others. Needed to make a new account with another email address, even though i had never used my current account for paid subscriptions (but had used trials).

  • Can confirm to OP that this deal is still valid. I previously had an active Turkish sub with Adobe that I cancelled earlier this month but since the original sub was valid until 26 Jan, I had to wait until today before I could subscribe to the deal.

Used ProtonVPN and Revolut and no issues with payment or sign up but when I created my existing account 12 months ago, I couldnt use my original Adobe account (AU address) and even the Gmail alias method failed so had to create a new account.

  • @Kazusa Nice one! Signed up for a free trial of Cyberghost for the VPN, used Revolut card. No issues at all.

Thanks for this one! I really only needed Adobe Pro, but to get all of the apps for around a fiver a month is awesome!

  • Has anyone with an existing subscription in AU had any luck getting this signed up?

  • Signed up last month to yearly plan at ~$63 AUD but charge seemed to try to go through again today via revolut.

Has anyone else had this occur?

    • Yes - they have tried twice to put charges

  • hey guys I have this working but when I'm connecting to my account or adding Adobe fonts it loads the Turkish Adobe.
Anyone know if there is a way to do it without a VPN when it tries to connect to your account?

Had this for several months but got an email saying that they know I’m Australian and will be changing my pricing over to AU pricing in 30 days.

    • +1

Same here, just got an email 10 mins ago saying I am required to pay with australia pricing

  • +4

sub scribed, used for several months, but last week for an email saying that it found that i was using it in Australia and so from the next month onwards it would change my billing to 70 dollars a month. hence cancelled it. request everyone who used this to check their emails else monthly costs would be very painful given the cost of living crissis currently.

The email subject was (to help in email searching).
    Your subscription price is changing

  • typo - got an email not for an email.

  • +1

also remember to cancel the recurring payment in your revolut account for adobe.

  • +1

Got the email with about price changing to AUD in the next 30 days

  • +1

Well playing with the AI generative fill was fun while it lasted, not paying AU price to continue.

  • +1

Got an email to but used the Lebanese one

  • same email
its fun but not at those prices

  • +1

Same. Fun is over now. What a killer Adobe!

  • -1

so how to 'cancel' before they take payment??

  • got an email, now to make a new account start a subscription and change my router settings to vpn automatically to lebanon.

    • Is there a way to only route Adobe through a VPN?

      • You can use something like split tunnelling - ymmv

      • Yes the easiest way i can think of doing it would be to run adobe in a Virtual Machine and have a VPN on the VM permanently

    • Any free VPN supports Lebanon?

    • -1

That won't make any difference as they have already understood and marked your move to Australia pricing - you need to go through their support to prove that you are actually using it from the subscribing country. Hard to be on VPN everytime outside home…the VPN on router from Lebanon/Turkey will not take advantage of your ISP bandwidth allocated.

  • Got email from adobe, they are cracking down and will charge you aussie price.

    this is no longer valid.

    • Got the email too. So games is over.

    • Yep my subscription has been cancelled.

  • I had a chat with their customer rep online and just cancelled it and asked for pro-rata refund

  • I got an email too so I cancelled. But it says it will be cancelled on 21st June 2024?

We've processed your cancellation request. Your service will end on 21-June-2024 (PT).

Will I still get billed next month?

  • Yup, got the email too, saying changing it to the Australian Student plan ($268+) which is still cheaper than paying the full price.

  • I haven't had an email yet.

    • They will find you and they will f❤❤❤ you

  • +1

has anyone tried to re-subscribe using turkish vpn after recieving the email? would they just send it immediately again ?

    • Im in the same boat, keen to know what the go is

    • I don't think it'll work either. Cos as long as the creative cloud is running in the background and if you are not using a Turkish VPN 24/7 they will find out. Probably the only way to overcome this is to either run a VPN on a Turkish setting 24/7 or stop Adobe Cloud communicating with the internet (blocking necessary communications)

My account got cancelled for "fradulent activity"

    Received this email:
We are reaching out to notify you that our fraud prevention specialists detected fraudulent behavior concerning your Creative Cloud All Apps 100GB subscription. As a result, your subscription has been cancelled and you will no longer be able to access the included Adobe apps and services.

They wont even issue a refund, just said chargeback with your bank.

Welp, never paying for an adobe program ever again.

    • Let us know if and when your dispute with the bank is successful.

      • Will do!

      • So my bank is revolut:

Over multiple days and questions, heres all the questions (contact started on 23rd feb, last message received about charge back going through was on the 1st march lol):
They wanted to know when did the merchant cancel the services?
Also asked for the month of cancellation of the subscription from merchant

        After the above
Exact date I received the services
I asked adobes live chat all the above questions and the latest question and just sent them to the chargeback live chat:

        Order was placed xxMonth 2024
It was cancelled xx Month 2024.

They offer 30 days refund policy, therefore 0 services were rendered

They also cancelled my account due to fraudulent activity, so I think they don't like revolut.

revolut response: Good news! Thanks to your quick responses I was able to raise a chargeback on your behalf. Now we need to wait, as the merchant has 50 days, starting today, to reply. From my experience, most merchants reply sooner than that. There is a possibility that they will not agree with our claim, but don’t worry - we won’t let this go that easily. You will be receiving all further updates via email, but we may contact you via chat for additional information if needed. If the claim is accepted, the funds will be returned to your account. Have a great day!

        • +1

Thanks for the reply. It's likely that you will get your money back.

  • On hold with adobe now saying never asked for it. I'm getting a $268 charge.

    • Getting refund, they were quite good about it.

      • How did you get it? Using the chat? I think a lot of people have been charged this amount today, LOL

  • I still have not heard from them.

I only downloaded Adobe Acrobat, none of the other programs, but that shouldn't make any difference I guess. I keep checking the email account I used to register, just a generic hotmail address. I didn't put any Australian details in when I registered the software, so the only way they will find me is via the payment method I presume.

Not sure what the time period for doing a chargeback is at ING, but the deadline must be approaching.

  • Good things come to an end …

All the Adobe apps are now asking for the re-up. And I'm using Lightroom, Acrobat, and Premier Pro.

Any ideas on how to get these without paying crazy AUD prices?

  • Hello everyone, I had a big problem with my personal Adobe account that I created in Turkey a few months ago and now it has kicked me out and I am no longer able to repay it again. Has anyone of you had the same problem? If you solved it, how did you do it?
I tried to create a student account as the guide says but it won't accept payment with Revolut. I tried both with and without a VPN.

  • I dont wanna jinx myself but I do wonder if the ones that have been kicked to AU pricing had Adobe Genuine Service installed on their PCs/Macs? I remember when I was installing Acrobat it prompted me whether I wanted to install that and I clicked No and the program works as normal anyway; maybe the Genuine Service app pings home so often and thats how their putting two and two together.

  • My Turkish account just renewed successfully on 21/3. I was worried it was going to fail like others have reported, but for some reason it went through ok for me. I didn't install Adobe Genuine Service either.
