If you're a Telstra customer, log in to Cinebuzz via the Telstra site or app and you wont pay the ridiculous booking fees.

Thanks! Used some Telstra points too! Three tickets, today, 14.50.

    • Do we have to be a direct telstra customer or will it also work for boost customers?

    • +1

It's still asking me to pay booking fee even though I logged in through Telstra ? I can see Telstra points on the site so not sure what I'm doing wrong

      • +3

You’re not doing anything wrong logging in via Telstra does not waive the booking fees on other ticket types, the original commenter is wrong.

    • +4

Incorrect, there’s no booking fee on discounted Telstra tickets but this does not apply to other ticket types such as half price cinebuzz when logged in.

@cheeksahoy 13 upvotes and you're dead wrong lol.

It used to be free but they changed a year or so ago.

There used to be free popcorn refill for cinebuzz members, is that still going?

I wouldn't be surprised if it got cancelled, animals abuse everything.

    • +1

Free popcorn refills are available to those on the Cinebuzz VIP tier.

How do you get $10.50 tickets? Cheapest I can see are $12.50

    • -1

It's only for normal/standard sessions on Tuesday. You're probably getting 12.50 due to administration fee (where's the administrator? 🤖)

$10.50 you can get if you go to the actual cinema and get the ticket in person.

Looks like prices are cinema dependent. E.g. tickets are $9.75 at Morley but $13 at George Street

  • Worth noting to double check what the original ticket price is for that session and see if it is reflected as half price.

One of my locals (Chermside) have had incorrect prices for a bit (as the original full ticket price was lowered) Staff at the counter have manually adjusted the price for me before when noting it was not quite half price.

    • What price did you end up getting at Chermside? It's also a local spot for me. What were the prices for standard and 4DX?

      • +1

Standard can vary across movies too, worth selecting a seat on the website and seeing what pricing is reflected

Aquaman is $25 standard and $12.50 Half Price (correct) but another film is $23 and $12 Half Price (should be $11.50).

        VMAX is slightly off currently.

4DX seems correctly loaded now, this was the one I had issue with a month back $17.50 down from $35.

  • Any ideas how to see 4DX for cheap on other days?
