Anyone had any issues with the location tracking for this? Am looking at joining a family this year, but figured I'd check what the experience was like doing it through Australian servers without vpns etc.

I've been sharing my account with my parents, an uncle and a friend for years without any kind of issue. Now that I think of it, I probably didn't update my address with Google when I moved house last year either.
I'm sure they'll crack down one day if they see money to be made, but considering the massive price hikes of late I assume that's a while off.
No issues here. My siblings and I all live in 3 separate addresses. I think Google doesn't care as much about this as the VOD providers.
I've been sharing with my cousins in Turkey for years, no problems yet.

Has the Turkish YouTube fee gone up in December? Just noticed my Argentina family subscription went up from 699 peso to 1569peso. Equates to $6.55 a month now. Still way cheaper than the Australian plan of $30+ a month.
Might need to migrate to another country if there is significant difference.
