[PC] World of Warcraft: 60 Days Prepaid Time Card $29.85 (Activates on US WoW Accounts Only) @ Top_player G2A.com

200

The cheapest WoW subscription is $17.25/m if you buy 6 months of time ($103.50)
3 Months of time comes to $18.60/m ($55.80)
Month to month sub is $19.95/m

This comes down to $15~ a month.

I have no proof except for this post and this (confirmed by Blizz rep), but it seems the codes don't expire, so I've stocked up for next expansion. I got my keys within about a minute.

Previous deal I posted was $31.43 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/720875

    I'm a hunter, level 2.

  • You can buy WOTLK gold then buy a game token, that's roughly $10 a month

Isn't that a bannable offence? Doesn't seem worth the risk for a few bucks.

Well you need time to buy a WOTLK token firstly :)

Also as @Merlict said, it's a bannable offence. Haven't heard of anybody perma banned for it though - mostly 14 day bans. Which means you'd be paying $10 for half the month if caught.

I've purchased time this way a few times and been fine. Then I just death roll my way to 300k for a token lol.

    • i remember always buying gold just for the flying and riding skills, and then the mounts
every expansion. shame iv stopped paying now

those were some good 10 years pre kids and living at home.

  • Does G2A still automatically sign you up for a "free trial" of their dodgy subscription when you buy something?

    • When PvP means something else entirely 😜

      • as long as you are high enough level you always win ;)

  • I moved on to Chromiecraft some time ago when Blizzard last put up their prices. I play so infrequently I couldn’t justify the cost.

Same here, but with Firestorm (which is currently on version 10.2).

The other option is: official server is $9 per month if you only subscribe every second month.

      • How does that work?

I’m so behind on official content now I’m not sure how I could ever catch up. Despite my characters nearing 20 years of age now.

        • I used to subscribe for 6 months because that was the cheapest monthly rate, say $13 for 30 days or 43c per day. However, subscribing at the monthly rate of $15 for 30 days costs about the same if you take a 5 day break between subscriptions as $15 for 35 days is also 43c per day. Sure, you can't play for 5 days, but maybe that's healthy for a WoW player. In the end the break I was on just never stopped.
