900mm Electric Built in Oven under $1k

I need to replace a faulty 900mm built-in electric oven in the kitchen. I simply want a basic oven without additional features such as Pyrolytic, Steam, or In-built Air Fryers/Microwaves. Essentially, I am looking for a reliable oven that will last a long time, and I may consider one with cosmetic defects. I prefer a stainless steel/black glass design.

Well-known brands are priced around $2,000 or more. I have come across cheaper options with dodgy names like Eurolux on eBay, priced at 7-8 hundred dollars. However, I am unsure about their reliability and if I can trust them.

Any recommendations?

    Could check out
    https://www.homeclearance.com.au/

I've bought from there before, it's owned by the same parent company as winning appliances.
Sells their brands factory seconds as well as ex demo stuff.
I had zero issues with both the Bosch items I sourced via there and saved a heap for the top line 90cm oven and induction cooktop I bought.
Was just random luck timing they had ex demo versions of both items when I was kitchen updating, and a couple thousand less than the same items would have been via any random good guys or similar sale.

    Product availability depends on state/location

Beko and Haier are a bit over $1k and probably worth it over some no name/rando shit, but also probably not the best. Do you really need 90cm? Could make the cavity smaller and pop a 60cm bosch in for like $600.

    • Unfortunately 60cm is not an option without a kitchen replacement.
Thank you for Beko and Haier idea, I will explore their ovens. I also noticed reasonably priced Omega brand, is it any good?

Not sure on Omega, I've seen them in rentals exclusively so I'd lean towards junk and bad experiences on product review if you look it up, but not sure. Bosch is def solid, technika is junk. Beyond that no opinions tbh. IMO though sorry to say $1k towards a 90cm all you're gonna see is likely junk.

  • There is a thread here discussing the issue.

    Might give you some ideas.

No point me repeating points raised there. Inc Repair of existing.
