It's rare to find a TV of this size with 4K resolution for this price. Bauhn 40" models have always been FHD in the past for the same price. Connect your favourite TV stick if the UI isn't fast enough for you.

I wonder if the woofer will be wired or wireless, the description says wired but the image shows wireless.. :D
I've bought a couple of things where the image was very clearly wireless, to the point where the item was shown from an angle that showed where the cord attached, with no cord visible.
If it says wired then its probably wired, just neater aesthetics in terms of marketing image

Bauhn is the brand (Aldi home brand). 40 inch is the model as they are weekly specials….
Is the philips soundbar worth it? Or just another landfilled product?

Not this soundbar in particular, but the last time I bought a Philips soundbar from ALDI it sounded as bad or worse than my TV's built in speakers.
We bought the 40" 4K one today for our daughter's bedroom. It is so lightweight you can hardly believe it's a 40" TV in your hands. The picture looks pretty good, but the sound is tinn'ey as and we will probably have to get a quality (non-ALDI) soundbar for it.
Anyone who bought one care to share their thoughts on this TV?
I bought a blunpunkt 50 inch 4K from Coles on New Year’s Day for $150. It was on clearance. I think definitely worthwhile walk into Coles and ask.
