You may only get this speed by charging selected oppo phones. I used my original oppo 65w charger from the find x2 to charge other android phones and it’s significantly slower, like 10 - 15w max

    • +4

yes, because OPPO use their own charging solution, basically two cells in one battery…. so it's not compatible with others, but it will work for their sub-brands like one-plus, vivo, realme.. ETC.

      • What about their wireless charger? Will it work with my Samsung phone?

        • +3

the charger is called "airVOOC.." I doubt it will work at full speed.

      • I think Oppo uses Vooc which is the same as Oneplus

    • The wireless charger also works on my Oneplus 8 pro at 20w. They use the same tech I think.

Thank you OP for sharing. : ))

    Buyer beware
Note*. these chargers can only output their spec charge speed if you are charging an Oppo phone with the right Oppo USB cable

You can use third party cables, just need to check the amperage support as that seems to be where the handshake fails for mine. My find X3 pro charger runs off 10v 6.5A for 65w whereas the standard usb-pd cable would use 20v 3.25A or thereabouts, so a standard USB pd cable may throttle down. I've got a 20v5A 100w cable and it will charge at 10v5A so I ended up getting a 10A cable to allow 10v6.5A.

I've got a toocki cable from AliExpress with a little wattage display and that charges properly as well as showing the charging rate, as long as the cable is less than 1m. 2m cables seem to drop back to 18w charging after the initial handshake.

The power bank support for Oppo phones is a pain since there aren't many that support vooc charging, and none at higher than 30w as far as I'm aware. My only workaround has been to use the 50w wireless charger hooked up to a usb-pd power bank as the wireless charger accepts regular PD input.

Also worth mentioning, the wireless 50w charger doesn't come with the power brick.

      • Well noted thanks. Clearly explains why 3rd party 60w and 100w cables, especially 2m will not VOOC and SuperVOOC. Needs to accommodate the current (amps), not necessarily the volts. I'll look up the Toocki.

  • are they Gan ???

    • +1

No I don't think so they are fairly large and single port (my 80W is at least)

    • +1

if they were they would put it loud and clear. for marketing GaN is really a selling point.

  • 50w wireless charger?
How fast does it do burger patties?

  • +2

Thanks OP! Got a heap of goodies, the VOOC standard can't be beat!

  • I have two of these wireless chargers. They are great, just note that they do have a somewhat loud fan noise. Consider if this would be a problem if putting it on your bedside table.

    • Do they come with the cable or wall adapter?

  • Do the wired ones support regular USB PD?

    • +2

Off the top of my head, no. As per my above post, these do 65w as 10v 6.5A, regular PD would be 20V 3.25A or some variation of it.

    Thanks for posting this.

I've always wanted to pick up a spare charger for my Find X3 Pro.

For anyone querying other devices - two generations of my wifes Pixel phone have both painfully slowly charged using these chargers so I couldn't reccomend them if you don't have an Oppo device.

Thanks mate…picked a couple things up.
    Should work with my oneplus
