Anyone dealt with android-enjoyed.com? Wanting to buy best warranty deal for a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 over 12 months

I'm looking around for the best warranty deal for a note 2 and came across android-enjoyed. They're currently selling it for $640 including shipping but for an extra $16 you get extended 3 year warranty. Overall, it's a great price $656. Anyone dealt with them before? Any warranty issues? Any feedback would greatly appreciated.

  • It's a pretty new website, I've never dealt with them before but you can try it out and tell me the result :D

  • What a terrible experience trying to buy from this site. I wanted the Samsung Galaxy S3 4G so ordered it on back order. Waited for more than a week but no contact from them so chatted on line only to find out that they cannot sell it to me at the back ordered price and I have to pay an extra $107! What the ?, but when it became available again on their site it was only an additional $20 and since then has gone up even more.

Then they kept me hoping by saying they are waiting for a decision from their finance team to see if they can sell me the phone for the back-ordered price. This went on for 3 days and the I found out that unless they can get it from another supplier at that price I will have to wait no way!

What a joke, no "enjoyment" at all!

I imagine if there are warranty issues on the phone they will give you problems. Cannot recommend them!!

  • +1

I purchased a Asus Zenfone 6 32gb mobile phone with 2 years extended warranty in September 2014 and they sent me a 16 gb phone! when contacted, kept delaying and finally after three weeks refunded the balance.
But in October 2014, my phone started playing up and stopped responding with multiple screen displaying at the same time. When contacted them, started the delaying tactics and after repeated requests, agreed for repair with return to base in Hongkong.
Now it is more than two months, there is no sign of my phone even of repeated emails, phone calls. Since last three weeks they have even stopped responding with the standard message of the phone still being repaired by the technical team and refused to give the technical teams direct number as well. Their Sydney number just hangs up the phone when contacted.
I don't know how to get my phone back or my refund back.
Wouldn't recommend them to anyone this site which appears to be an Australian site but turned out it isn't.

    • They have an ABN(70166898684), ACCC should be able to help.

  • Her my experience & frustrations with this company

    Android NOT Enjoyed!

My experience with AndroidEnjoyed customer support and their warranty (non-)service has been one of continued frustration.

I will never ever consider one of their products again (and that extends to their camera website too - www.camerasky.com.au …. I presume their warranty service won’t be much better either, so I won’t even look at it).

The story so far: I bought a Samsung phone a few weeks before Christmas for my wife as a present, we then activated it in January after returning from the Christmas holiday oversees. The phone was faulty from day 1, randomly turning itself on and off (even while making calls) … we updated firmware, did all the usual trouble-shooting, to no prevail. Contacted Android-NOT-Enjoyed on 14.1.15 to ask for a replacement or refund of purchase price. Not possible – warranty claim, their courier will pick up the phone, fix and return. Timeframe given was ‘about 4 weeks’.
The phone was picked up 2 weeks (27.1.) after the initial contact …. Then no communication for 3 weeks, and only after repeated emails by me I finally got a couple of polite replies that the phone is still being fixed (18.2.) and my patience being appreciated.
Then no news for another 4 weeks! Again various emails from me to request a new phone or a refund asap (22.3.) – that’s more than 2 months after lodging the initial warranty claim! Still no phone, still no refund, still no information what’s wrong, how much longer it may take etc….

I informed Android-NOT-Enjoyed that –with one week’s notice – I will share my experience about their warranty processes so potential customers are aware what they might experience should they buy products from their websites. Again I requested a replacement phone or refund — the reply I got 2 days later was:

“I just received feedback from them that this RMA claimed was returned, but was sent to repair again on 9 Mar 2015.” Hmm, really?! The faulty phone was repaired over 4 weeks, then tested by them, then found to be still faulty and sent back to the tech again?!!

How much longer before we can use a new but faulty phone we bought last year for some $350 ??

My response - I will never ever consider one of their products again (and that extends to their camera website too - www.camerasky.com.au …. I presume their warranty service won’t be much better either, so I won’t even look at it).

Any suggestions of how can I precced under Australian Consumer Law (I presume contacting Fair Trade is the next step?)
    Cheers

  • Don't buy from them 100% to 200%.. They keep telling me need a replacement stock, need another week!
Week after same answer, need to wait another week! Never reply and update, no solutions or replacement!
Same old story every time! Now is 3 week gone, until you feel the whole thing is (SUPER SOUR LEMON).
4 week later What they tell yo is, If you are not happy with it, the buyer can cancel the order!
Why can't they tell you in a first place! If they don't have the item why taking your order?
After take your order when they don't have stock, never try to info you and wait until you get contact with them!
After getting in touch, the matter still no resolve!
Same old story thing again and again! Have to wait another week, wait for our warehouse respond!
In today (TECH) all computer information can be auto Up-link! What a story they can tell you!
Taking your order and let you wait!!!!!!
If you need to know more about it. And I will tell you the ((( SUPER SOUR LEMON ))) that I have experience with them.
Please contact me on: [email protected]

  • Hahaha wtf. All these new users commenting on this. Not suspicious at all.

  • Wish I had of read this before I placed my order…. 17 days after order & it's still 'processing' with 1 original email saying the tablet I ordered is not in stock & offered me another one, when I replied they replied with, out tool to check this is unavailable at the moment we will get back to you… no reply & I have sent 3 emails with no reply… $1200 just gone on nothing….
don't know if it matters but will be reporting their abn (70166898684) to ACCC

  • Android Enjoyed has ripped me off, given me appalling service and treated me with astonishing arrogance.

I purchased a faulty product, but Android Enjoyed has refused to give me a refund. I’ve also been given the run-around and forced to deal with a range of different staff, even though my problem is actually easy to solve.

    Let me explain what happened.

I purchased a Lenovo smartphone from Android Enjoyed. Unfortunately, from day one, the mobile internet connection failed to work properly.

Please note the problem was not that the mobile internet connection NEVER worked properly - it was that it OFTEN failed to work properly.

    Here are some relevant facts:

-My mobile internet connection failed to work many times. That proves it wasn't just a one-time problem.
-My mobile internet connection failed to work in many locations. That proves it wasn't a one-location problem.
-My mobile internet connection failed to work when I swapped SIMs with other people. That proves it wasn't the fault of my phone services provider.

Here's another important fact: a new phone that I was forced to purchase has worked PERFECTLY - even though I've used it in the same locations and with the same SIM where my Android Enjoyed phone frequently failed.

I explained all this to Android Enjoyed.

Android Enjoyed told me to return the phone for testing. After a needless delay of several weeks, Android Enjoyed told me it had been able to get the mobile internet connection to work, and therefore the phone was in perfect condition, and therefore it would not give me a refund.

I reminded Android Enjoyed that I had also been able to get the mobile internet connection to work – the problem wasn’t that it NEVER failed to work, the problem was that it OFTEN failed to work.

However, Android Enjoyed refused to budge – its position was that getting the phone to work once somehow proved that it worked 100% of the time.

Android Enjoyed has effectively stolen money from me – I gave the company money but got an obviously faulty product in return. What is that if not theft?

I reported all this to the consumer ombudsman (Fair Trading NSW). The ombudsman contacted Android Enjoyed to discuss my complaint – but Android Enjoyed never replied. That typifies the arrogance of this company.

The ombudsman told me that my next option is to take the matter to a small claims court (NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal). I’m still weighing up whether to do so. But one thing is clear: I will never give any more business to this appalling company.

    • Lol, sorry for your loss but we keep telling you people not to buy from there but you never listen. Let your experience be a reminder to all the fools out there looking to get something from that mob.

  • DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR ANDROID ENJOYED.

I wish I had checked the reviews before buying expensive headphones from them online. I transferred the money through and they claim they did not receive it, although my bank says otherwise.

I've since discovered that they owe consumers over $150,000 - see the warning on the NSW GOvernment's website of the Office of Fair Trading. I can't even sue them because their office in Australia is just a front!

I'm never likely to see my money but I might save someone else from being ripped off.

  • Android Enjoyed is the most complained about reseller - https://www.crn.com.au/news/android-enjoyed-is-most-complain… . If only I read this before I bought my Sony Xperia through them! The few dollars I saved are not worth the hassle I have now. My phone broke (software that I couldn't fix) in May this year, after 9 months of use. I have logged a call with Android Enjoyed (AE) but received no feedback what-so-ever. I got fed up and posted a negative review on this page. Soon after I have been contacted by AE staff who facilitated the return of the phone to their HK office. That seemed helpful although not sure what's the use of their web based return facility. After about a month or so I finally received my phone back from HK. I was so excited just to find out that the original issue, where the control buttons on the screen didn't respond to touch (nothing wrong with the actual screen) was actually fixed, but another issue introduced. I was unable to make a phone call as the screen would automatically turn off, so a major issue for a phone! So here we go again, providing a proof, photos, videos, explanation, sending the phone again, paying for postage, waiting for weeks… mega frustration. So I was promised a refund for postage since this issue was introduced by AE and their incompetent staff. So another couple of months have passed and my phone has made its way to me. Excitement.. short lived I open the box and the phone has come back with the same issue, looking more and more grubby with the glue sipping from the sides of the screen. By this time I have had enough of it. I did not want ANYTHING to do with Android Enjoyed. So I requested a refund, which I was told I will get. I was asked to fill the paper work, send pics, videos, god knows what else again. Posted the phone again. Was assured I will get a refund for the postage too, for all 3 times I’ve had to send the phone to AE. So waiting and waiting to hear about the confirmation of the refund for the phone and the postage X3. Finally email arrived .. saying the phone is on it's way back! This is NOT what has been promised to me! I have replied to Winny who was dealing with me and she told me that I don't qualify for a refund because the issue was dealt with in a timely manner - from end of May to end of October.. hmmm 5 MONTHS! The next excuse was that my issue was minor! I would not classify being unable to make phone calls as a minor issue. The next excuse was that my phone was now out of warranty!! well it was because AE took 5 months to get it back to me. And another stroke - they will now not refund my postage also because they were able to repair the issue that they have introduced! Well done, pat on the back! And now I have been waiting for a senior manager to call me.. it's been 3 weeks or so. I guess they are busy dealing with all the complaints.. must be thousands of them.. so busy.
Anyway I'm done with this horrible money grabbing company and I recommend you stay away too!
