Which Is a Reliable Mosquito Indoor Trap/Zapper?

The ones I've tried so far have sucked - Gecko 10W Weatherproof Bug Zapper and https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CLV7JN89.
Didn't attract/kill any mosquitos but seemed to work on other insects.

The options I'm looking at:
https://envirobug.com.au/collections/mozzie-traps/products/s…
https://www.pestrol.com.au/buy-online/sleep-easy-indoor-mosq…
https://thequash.com.au/products/quash-uv-indoor-bug-trap-wh…
https://www.theorganisedauto.com.au/products/mozzie-bug-zapp…
https://www.enviromart.com.au/product/ambush-mosquito-indoor…
https://www.easypestsupplies.com.au/products/magna-indoor-mo…

Need something I can plug in and just set and forget then empty after a few days. Will be putting it in the kitchen/laundry area.
Will buy boosters if the product has one available.

Has anyone tried any of the options above and can confirm they've worked?

TIA

i have yet to find a reliable indoor solution for mosquitos but especially those MF Midges.

am now considering splashing out on REPELLANT barrier creating solutions instead like MOZFOG which is supposedly all natural, human safe and looks to be effective especially with Midges. Sick of having to cover myself all over in repellant then having to fully shower again right after (and still copping at least 8-10 midge bites at minimum anyway). Unfortunately not ideal as a set and forget and all day everyday solution because needs topping up relatively frequently.

    • Hmmm definitely looks useful in the backyard.

      • yeah its definitely an outdoor only solution but hoping we can reliably enjoy hanging out in the alfresco / bbq area again.

  • The cheapest from Bunnings does not suck. It does nothing at all other than consume power.

Rolled up newspaper. Also deadly to flies.

  • Apparently these salt zapper guns work:

    WILL THE BUG-A-SALT ELIMINATE MOSQUITOES?
The Bug-a-salt is extremely effective at eliminating mosquitoes.

  • None

  • The plug-ins which emit pyrethroid insecticide work fine

UV/Light/Zappers don't really work in mozzies, but they kill a lot of other insects, some which eat mozzies.

Mozzies are attracted to CO2 (your breath), your sweat, etc

Here's interesting thread on Reddit from someone who tried the CO2 traps with some success.

if you want to DIY, try this trap from Albany City Council in WA

I've found plug-in ones useless. The autospray ones have been excellent, especially inside. you can get cheap refills at Coles/Aldi. they spray pyrethrin (or a synthetic version) every few minutes that kills them. Takes out mozzies, flies, moths, etc.

    • Dang $200 - wish there was a smaller version of it but seems like the way to go.

      • have a chat ro Pestrol, tell them your situation and ask what they recommend (maybe the smaller units will suffice), then check ebay, with Ebay Plus you can get 6% or $10 off.
