It’s not a great deal, but if you are sick of your own cooking and just want something different, this is a cheap way to satisfy that urge. Don’t really want breakfast items for that purpose.

Still chasing up on bonus points here, from early/mid Dec (2 transactions) got one lot of bonus points, still waiting for the second. They take around/over 2 weeks each time to reply. Will not do any bonus point bonuses anymore (unless was otherwise going to order that much anyway, and not gonna bother chasing it up if bonuses not applied). Its so hit and miss whether they apply the points automatically.
This seems to have changed. I didn’t get the points for the cheap deals either, but this worked the other day. Also didn’t expect it to work so it’s a nice bonus. I guess it’s thanks to your chasing that made them realise they could save a lot of hours by doing it right the first time :)
I didnt combine with deals — I bought happy meals and had 1000 bonus point offers for $5+ spend so it really should have come through automatically. It just really pisses me off that even when sending a message to follow up it takes 2 weeks for each reply. Ie a reply to ask for receipts then wait another 2 weeks for outcome/reply. And when i sent a message about the second lot of missing points, it wasnt addressed when they replied 2 weeks later.

Same experience for me- although I did combine with an app deal. It was close to Christmas though so maybe they're on skeleton staff as I had to chase up multiple times before getting the points credited o my account.
@Craze: They still owe me 1000 points.. but its just too much hassle to chase up, will wait to see if they (finally) honour their deal this time, but probably wont bother chasing up points again. Not worth getting myself all worked up when they finally reply and its still not solved, all for a few measly points.

Before Christmas it was $4, ok, then next was $5, then skipped to $7 - pass when you could get small cheeseburger meal at HJ for $5. Some of their deals are ridiculous, like get a free big mac if you spend over $40
I just keep using the $1 frozen slushie deal for a large one, which is usually only 2/3 full so I feel better and when their slushie machine is broken they refund at full price and my friend who went last time that happened said she didn't tell them they overrefunded because the staff were so flaming rude when she asked when the machine would be fixed. I laughed and told her it's been out of order for well over a year at that mcdonalds now. Sad

I have not bought anything through the app since the 30 days of November (and even then, most of the deals were rubbish, only 1 or 2 were really worth it).
