Thanks OP! Was just looking at these, glad I didn’t pull the trigger earlier 👌🏼

  • Is this better than Elgato low profile arm?

    • Depends on what you want. I read on reddit that the low profile arm does sag after a while.

I have both arms. I haven't had the sagging issue like the other commenter mentioned but they are for completely different use cases, definitely depends on how your desk/workspace is set-up.

  • I have one of these and it's great. Awesome price.

Does get squeaky over time. Also the tear drop shape at the head of the arm near where you connect your mic makes it difficult to angle with some microphones.

      Does get squeaky over time.

      WD-40

      • I don't think it works from what I remember from a youtube video when I was looking into it. There is another kind of oil that you can buy to make it squeak less but it's something you'll only use once, I hate buying stuff like that.

Can confirm avoid WD-40 for this arm, it only works temporarily and will make it worse for some reason. Sewing machine oil works great. I used a bit once 3-4 years ago and have had no problems since.

      • WD-40 will be no good once dust accumulates. Better off using dry lubricant.

  • Click on the link and it goes to full price of $129
