Yes, the ingredients percentage is low, but have you calculated the coffee percentage in a $5 takeaway cup?

$1.28/L, 1L Frantelle pushing $2/L lol everyone taking the piss with the gouging.

Also I drink almond milk because it is low calorie and I'm lactose intolerant and its cheaper than water lol.

Vitasoy Vs So good oat milk anyone? which is better or both similar?

    • +5

Soy Milky much better, but never this cheap

      • +1 for Soy/Almond/Oat Milky, everything else is crap once you try them, actually tastes creamy.

So Good is much tastier and creamier. And their newer "Creamy Oat Milk" is amazing. Their chocolate one is also very good. Shameful, but I drank that in 2 days flat..

But yeah, it never gets as cheap as Vitasoy so if you're just using it in coffee, this is fine.

So Good also tends to be fortified with stuff like B12 which you'd want to be getting more of if you're not eating animals either, so it's generally a better pick.

        • Didn't know that. Very cool. I just get it because yum! (and milk is no good for me, never giving up eating tasty, tasty animals.)

    • +1

So good is better tasting and consistency. This is probably the best everyday budget choice especially when bought in bulk at half price.

This is really good. I go between Oat Milky, Aldi Oat Unsweetened, Oatly or Califia and these rate the same. You don't get the watery taste. They still taste creamy.

Oat milk to me is like pouring water into a bowl of oats and drinking the water.

    • +4

Sounds like a lot of work, you should just buy the cartons.

    • Your version of oat milk and actual oat milk are two very different things.

    • I'm unsure if you're talking about taste or contents. In terms of taste some are much better than others. In terms of contents it's not about the oats, they're just the flavouring. It's about the oil / fat, which is what makes milk what it is.

  • I wish the sweetened version went on sale

  • Hmmm…max of 6 per person? I couldn't do more than 6 on first order and now it won't let me set up a second subscription.

    • 72L isn't enough for you?

    Soy milk gives you moobs.

    • +3

Pretty sure it's all the kfc you've been eating

  • Mine arrived today and it's good for the price.

The So Good Barista Oat is better, but for half the price this does a good job. (I've never seen So Good go on special for less than $3/litre)

  • imo the best oat milks are:

    • Califia
    • Vitasoy
    • MilkLab

not sure about Inside Out - anyone tried Plant Projects or Chobani?

btw a significant Australian company in the non-dairy market is meant to be entering the alternative milk space soon, with quality supposedly similar to MilkLab…

    • Uncle Tony’s Oat & Almond milk blend is as the best. Then they stopped making it. Idiots

  • 12pk oat milk oos?

    • i didn't see it in stock from the start… so i could only get 6 packs of 1. The system refuse to sell me anymore at that price.
