Has been cheaper, but still a well priced tablet. Just don't expect "top tier" like in the OP's description!

    • Yes if you want top tier Lenovo go get a Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2022/23 or the new 12.7" tablet they have.

    • You’d need large pockets… I can only fit an iPhone mini as I have 3 legs

        Is that you, kickstand?

$205 on the Lenovo Amazon store?

Ohhh this isn't the 'plus' version… whatever that is.

    4gb ram …

  • I bought one of these after seeing the recommendations on Ozbargain and it's disappointingly slow plus the Lenovo software has some annoying quirks, can I install vanilla Android on it somehow?

    • Just need youtube for kids, ok for that?

      • +1

Yep. It's great for that. I don't find it slow, but then again for $250 I didn't expect it to run like an iPad Pro. Good tablet at this price I think. Maybe slightly heavy and thick? But great screen. Snappy enough for me.
Been using it for almost two years.

You get what you pay for with this… it ain't fast enough to try to run lots of stuff at once but you can't expect that for this price. Screen is fine for the price. Battery lasts fairly well. I'm not noticing issues with the software, it seems to be fairly vanilla android with a couple lenovo apps thrown in. Mine was upgraded OTA to 13 recently.

  • Redmi Pad SE from AliExpress in my opinion is a better choice. Have one and love it for bang for buck performance and features. Some might be put off with having virtually no warranty if an issue ever arises.

    • Which one? How much?

      • +1

Redmi Pad SE is a tad over A$250.

6gb version when discount codes are available through AliExpress for around $250. Few dollars more will get you the 8gb 128gb. Just make sure you use PayPal and go through a trusted seller.

For that price, you can buy Lenovo Tab P11 2nd Gen.

Link to that price for the P11?

      • They're having an episode.

We have had this tablet for about 6 months, great screen and speakers for the price. We only use it for browsing and media consumption so it is good enough for us, and was a bargain at the price.
