How to Transfer WhatsApp Photos from iPhone to Windows Laptop?

Hi, I have about 40 GB of WhatsApp photos in my iPhone which I need to download to a Windows laptop and free up the space in my iPhone. I tried export chat with media from my WhatsApp but it did not work.

I have disabled WhatsApp photo sync to my iPhone photo library.

Can I get some advice here please.

Thanks,

Whatsup saves all photos by default into your photo library.

If you have iCloud photos enabled then they will all be in iCloud.

Now you can install iCloud photos on windows, and it will sync all your photos in.

    • Thanks but the problem is i have not synced my whatsapp photo to my photo library. I updated my initial post now. Any other advice please.

Can you just enable sync and then copy across?

  • Within the chat, go to Media Links and Docs, select all your photos and choose Save to Files. From there transfer how ever you choose to get stuff off your phone, iCloud, etc.

    OzBargain 101.
Just buy a cable from Officeworks and then return it.

    • This joke will never get old.

  • Assuming you've already tried connecting a USB cable and opened the phone from within Windows and copied the photos over.

Install 3utools which has a function to access the iphones storage and copy the files over.

  • Install WhatsApp on your computer and save the files from there? If you backup/sync WhatsApp from your phone (not iCloud sync, WhatsApp sync), it’ll all be on the PC.
