    • Yep, no surprise there.

Had no idea they even bothered trying to run a woman's basketball comp in Australia. Based on the free tickets, going about as well as I'd expect then.

      How is this comment constructive?

Flames have been getting 1,500+ fans each home game, even if they're free it's designed to grow the sport.

I hope you never have female children, what a sad house to live in.

You do know the Aussie women's basketball team (The Opals) is top 3 on world ranking, where do you think they come from? Dug em out of the ground?

Free tickets, get em, enjoy em, stop talking things down.

I went with kids to last week's and it was a really enjoyable event. Not overwhelming but great for little ones on a week night as entertainment.

Loved the engagement they have at breaks with the audience and the 3rd quarter break with the Hardly Normal sponsored giveaway.

    • Can you bring food in?

      • No store bought food or drinks/cans. Homemade food is fine

      • I took popcorn and the security was fine. They primarily watch for glass bottles and alcohol.

Btw the food there was typical amusement park affair, burgers, loaded chips, wraps, sandwiches, pies, salads. But prices I thought were reasonable, I probably won't take food and just buy there this time.

    • I had the same experience - great way to expose the little ones to the game as well. Was exciting and will go tomorrow as well

      • The mum and her boy behind me won one of the prizes from HN. I was over excited for a moment until the camera kept moving past me and stopp right behind!

Would have been an epic night to have used free tickets and go home with a security camera system / Xbox.
