Are you still broke and working out of a garage?

    • +5

      HAHA yes unfortunately 😅

Dunno why I got downvotes. It's a genuine question based on sellers first post.
Not a dig in any way.

  • +4

    Output is only 10w though…

Seems the standard today is ~20w output for this size of powerbank (10k/20k)

  • warranty?

    • 1 year through us!

Does it cover if it catches fire and the house burns down?

  • Capacity of 11800 is below average of 13300mAh

  • Micro USB?

    • 3 port Micro-USB, Lightning and USB-C

      • +1

It was more that I'm surprised this is still around in 2024.

It is not exactly at the forefront of powerbank technology to be honest. However it is a great no frills bare bones powerbank at a great price for people that do not mind. Perhaps a suitable choice for kids or the elderly.

        • More surprised lightning around in 2024 even apple has got rid of that

        • Still plenty of devices being sold with that horrible connector. Pisses me off so much.

    so USB-C In and out?

Also, 10W is pretty slow by todays standards.

But for that price it's not that bad.

    • +1

that is correct, USB-C in and out.

If it were light I'd probably have a use for this in my guitar gig bag - few electronics in the modern gig bag that just need 10W charging anyway.

However, it's too heavy for my pref, and those electronics don't need anything more than 10K to charge everything.

Failing to see the use case here unfortunately.

Failing to see the use case here unfortunately

Because you are looking in the wrong deal.

  • +2

I can see multiple use cases straight off the bat, applicable to me only so no doubt there's more.

Powering small lights in case of power blackout, camping, etc. We have a few small power banks with those bendy USB lights for this very purpose

Topping up a controller or using it instead of batteries. Kids go through so many AAs for this reason, this cuts down on it

Slow charging a device - better for the battery.. if you don't need to fast charge, then opting to avoid will prolong its life

Powering various low power draw items.. ie network switch, Bluetooth speaker, Raspberry Pi or those which dont support fast charging, like the Lenovo m10 (not plus) that was featured on here recently

Unfortunately I've amassed so many power banks over the years that I won't need to buy any more. Otherwise at this price its a great deal!

    • +1

Great insightful analysis. Appreciate your input!

  • Total output: 5V-2A max.

my Nexus 6 from 2014 charges at 20watt ([email protected]), it's a bit slow in 2024

Hoco, they are a reputable brand on par with Ugreen & Baseus

Baseus, ewwwww. search up Baseus on any forum and you'll see horror stories, I thought those were made up stories by their competitor until I bought Baseus myself, lesson learnt.

Though $23 for a slow power source might make sense for some certain usage and certainly isn't a bad price.

    • Interesting. Will look into it. Personally I have never a problem as I daily one of their powerbanks however my experience with them is quite limited.

      • I've had a baseus charger for years and it's been fine. But sample sizes of one…….
