Anyone Know of Any Air Fryer with Longer than 1 Hour Timer and or up to 250C?

Interesting small dilemma with my kmart air fryer it can only do 60 minutes at a time then auto turns off.

I have gotten into pork belly roasting and am now looking for any preferably large air fryer with longer than 1 hour cooking timer.

Ideally one with up to 3-4 hours.

Even better if it has that function where you can set it to change temperature later in the cook time for example 2.5 hours at 140C then 30 minutes at 200C.

For now I have just been checking on it every hour or so and adding extra time but I'm curious if other air fryers exist with longer timers and lastly if possible up to 250C temperatures.

My kmart dual basket is great honestly can cook two separate things at once but only up to 60 minutes at a time and only up to 200C.

Wondering if anyone knows of any.

Thanks.

  • Why such a long cook? Chef Elizabeth Haigh does 20 min on bake at 210° then 10 min on grill at 240° in a Ninja Speedi, not available in our market yet.

    • Longer you cook pork belly the more tender it gets. It's highly recommended to do 2-3 hours of low temp cook for tender meat then finish with a high temp to finish the cracking.

I could do an experiment with high heat but my air fryer can only do up to 200C.

I saw this video too it is great but I want to try a few long cook recipes also.

Yes, but the benefit of your air fryer is speed. If you want low and slow that's a job for a conventional oven. I do sticky BBQ ribs for 3.5 hours at 140°. Crispy pork belly in a fan-forced oven takes 60 + 30 min.

        • hmm doing a pork belly now and honestly it is turning out great

just did 160C for 60 minutes now doing 200C for 60 minutes and it is already puffing up I guess I just need too make sure it doesn't burn now

Its called a fan forced oven…..

Basically this…. Set a timer for 45 mins to come back and add more time.

  • Our 'built-in' oven has an air fryer setting. An option if you are 'settled'.
