Of course there is not way for me to confirm this with 100% certanty, but if it is not clearly specified in the provided T&C I do not believe that this will affect your cashback" and the current T&C does not specify anything about activation but only says:

@mysterytal: No idea but if you click through from Shopback it links to the full price at $45, clicking through Shopback does not go to the link you've shared. Given cashback sites have the tendency to reject purchases I'd be concerned they won't pay out.
