    • Great first season

That first season was next level, and the potential for that show was ridiculous. They really didn't capitalise on that at all, I had to drop it before finishing the second and by all accounts it got worse from there.

Season 2 also was great tbh, Season 3 leaving the park got pointless.

      • Oh that's interesting. I couldn't watch the third season. I'm glad it wasn't just me

Most confusing thing ive ever seen… and ive seen a lot of JV’s comments.

    • +8

Try "Dark" on Netflix. It's way more confusing.

      • +1

It was especially confusing for me because I got the German characters mixed up.
I ended up drawing up a family tree on a notepad lol

  • How many discs would this be?

  • +9

"Complete" series. In that it's all they made but it never got a finale.

  • Anyone catch the last season? Was this worth watching?

    • +9

1 was amazing. 2 was okay but a lot of people hated it. personally i think 3 is when it turned into absolute shit. the last season was so bad that they cancelled the show entirely. even aaron paul couldnt save it

      • +1

I didn't mind season 3 in the futuristic world the CGI and everything was top notch then Season 4 came along..

      • +1

Season 2 is definitely worth watching as it actually wraps up the storyline for most of the characters. Season 3 is where it started to become bad. Season 4 is downright terrible. Terrible writing combined with dreadful directing (like Neighbours/Home & Away-level cheapness).

Doesn't look like anything to me.

  • +1

Sadly after season 3 it really fell apart and they won't be renewing it for S5

  • +3

Blurgh just give me season one.

  • +2

1st and 2nd season, amazing! After that it got a bit choppy! Shame as the premise was great.

    • +4

I'm surprised people don't rate the second season. S02 E08 Kiksuya was one of the best episodes in the entire show. Also had a really fitting ending (the season ep 10).

      • I agree, after the amazing start to season 1 I thought season 2 did westworld justice and was also one of my favourite seasons! I didn’t mind the later seasons but no where near as good as 1 and 2

        • +1

yeah the later seasons are still watchable. They are not bad, just different, and are more elaborate in concept.

      • +1

Kiksuya is one of the best tv episodes i've seen

      • I suspect there were many others like me that didn't make it more than ~3 episodes into season 2. It was just so slow and disconnected from season 1, and felt like it was going nowhere. It was a bit like a sequel that detracted from the original (Now You See Me 2, Matrix 2, etc.). The end of season 1 was such a good conclusion that I wish it had just been left there.

    More like Snoozeville.

    • +1

Pretty sure that's from Dr Seuss

    First season was phenomenal.
    Everything else…meh.

  • +2

Apparently they are making another movie

Glad I just watched the first season and forgot about it, then read the reviews on the rest.

  • -5

Gave up after the first season and not showing how they shrunk everyone down

  • What a shame they couldn't do the last season. Really picked up and fixed a lot of things in the latest season.

Couldn't pay me to watch this schlop

  • +1

Fantastic 1st season, good second season than they tried to be too smart and don’t really think they had any direction of what the endgame would be for the series and just tried to milk it by going into the “real world”. It’s really unfortunate turned into literal trash, if you guys like this also can look into peripheral on Amazon, created by the same ppl (Christopher Nolan’s siblings if I remember correctly). Not very impressed with 1st season but nice sci-fi concepts.

    • Peripheral unfortunately got cancelled (apparently due to the strike, which put production timelines out of wack).

      • Had no idea the Peripheral was canceled - brilliant first season.

  • +1

I actually loved season 3 and 4. Season 3 is better though, absolutely loved it.

  • +1

There is only 1 season. Just like there are only 3 Indiana Jones films.

  • -5

    Free on the high seas

  • First season was amazing. Full of boobies and stark sexual overtones, fabulous.

Second season that was all bad, they went straight to the narrative, men bad, women good. This is from a writing crew who objectified women in the first season,

I bailed after two or three episodes.

Apparently using robots as sexbots hurts their feelings. Keep that in when they are out in less than decade.

  • Not the greatest price - Sanity and JB had individual seasons for <$20 per season within the past month, if you don't mind getting individual seasons
