    Thanks for your observation. You're absolutely right, the 30% discount in question was for our Black Friday sale, where we offer our biggest ever discount, once a year!

    The current 20% off promotion is part of our New Year's initiative, aimed at helping our community start the year on a healthy note. While it's not as steep as our Black Friday sale, it's one of the better offers we run throughout the year, with the added benefit of free shipping so that new users can try Sipspa matcha with less risk (usually only offered for orders over $49).

  why would you take this over matchazone.com.au, for example - they have better price even after 20% discount here (you do need to spend $50 for free delivery, to be fair). I just don't see the deal.

  Probably not the same grade but I enjoyed the Taiwanese matcha from Utea- 200g for $17 +delivery.

    Ahh, Taiwanese matcha, a unique and delightful variety in its own right!

    You're correct that there are notable differences between Taiwanese & Japanese matcha, especially in their flavour profile and colour. Both have their own charm and appeal, and we're love to see matcha enthusiasts in exploration.
