You need to be more specific as no one will know what you require. I personally prefer wallets with 2 note sections, 1 having a zipper to hide notes in. Also the coin section 'zipperless' All the wallets that seem to have zippers for the coin section are a tight squeeze to get the coins out. I prefer the coin section to have a press stud/button for easy access to coins

Selecting a wallet isn't really an exact art… he was just asking for notable sites and/or products and people's opinions. As he said, he didn't know what to get, so it's hard to be specific about something you're not sure about.

    I'm also looking for a new wallet…
Half the crap out there these days is poor in quality, aimed at hipster/skater idiots, or both.

    • I've had a couple of JAG wallets that I've been very happy with. They've always been given as gifts, so I've never had to shop for one myself, but they easily last for years. Come to think of it, the one I'm using now is at least 5 years old, it may look battered but it shows no signs of failure in the near future!

I had a quick google, they have a lot of styles too; hopefully enough for the most discerning OzB'er! :)

I bought a wallet here a few years ago after reading a review, it is nice, simple and virtually indestructible. Certainly not cheap by any means but as with everything you pay for what you get.

Edit - I have had my wallet for a good 3 or 4 years, aside from the leather aging (making it look prettier) there is not a sign of any wear… even from my fat ass sitting on it all day.

  • I had a Busby leather wallet for 30 years. It still hasn't worn out but the credit card parts are a bit stretched so I finally bought a new one. My JAG leather wallet lasted 1 year! I think that says it all.

    • Geez louise, you necro'd this topic from 2012.
