Yet another price drop for this versatile 11 x zoom all rounder lens.

Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S ED VRII Telephoto Zoom Lens for Nikon DX-Format Digital SLR Cameras.

This is the newer VR2 model which is optically same/very similar to Nikon's initial pre 2009 VR1 release. Primary difference with new VR2 is the addition of lens lock at 18mm.

Gold VR lettering and lock button = current post 2009 version, red VR and no lock button = original pre 2009 version.

That's a $90+ price drop in the past 2 months.

  Good price for a grey import, or you can pickup a local warranty unit at JB for $900 and have a peace of mind for 2 years.

    usually nothing goes wrong with lenses, theyre perfect for 10+ years.
    if theres something wrong itll usually appear when you get it .

    or you can get this and say a 35mm prime for the same price , more bang for you buck.
