  it is true to size or runs big? I had Dr. Marten and have to size down 1, and read somewhere most boots runs 1 size bigger.

    I've got a the zipper version of the timberland. i selected us size 11, where say New Balance runners I go size 10.

    both have a fair bit of toe room. The boots are good because like most people my feet expand when walking around all day & also drinking lots of water.

    Really comfortable work boots, much more so then likes of Steel Blue, Blundstone, FXD & Magnum.

    I find that Timberlands are inconsistent. I have a pair that I bought in the US years ago that are a 10.5 and I had to wear them in as they were initially too tight (very comfortable now though). Last year there was a great deal on a different style but only in whole sizes so I got an 11 and they're absolutely huge, I had to add a thick insole into them to take up some space and they're still big.

    You'll be asked to put them in a tray to be scanned separately. But if you haven't added anything illegal they'll pass.

    this video shows the actual work boots have a completely different makeup, though this isn't the "iconic" i bet they are similar
    I'm going to DFO tomorrow to check them out in person and get fitted before buying

  Beware, these look like Timberland's classic 6" inch boots but they're much heavier due to the steel plate and a lot less comfortable due to the stiffer/thicker sole.
  I really wouldn't choose them over the regular 6" inch boot unless you actually need the increased durability/safety features.
