    Talk about bad marketing
Why not mention it's from Grinders

Ah right coz we all know this

Because of competition, and keeping seperate marketing labels… very good marketing reasons

    • Speculation is that this prevent Giancarlo Gusti re-launching the brand once Grinders embargo ends.

Coca Cola knows what they are doing.

My aunty buys this for her machine, i have drank from this, it tastes better than some fresh beans i have bought. i reckon its a good default coffee if you have access to it.

    • This is good news, looking forward to try it.

    • Do you know if it's a dark, medium or light roast?

      • +1

Medium to dark probably a 7/10

  • Giancarlo Espressito

  • Tried these beans maybe 4-6 months ago, unfortunately the flavour was not what I usually go for.
From memory, I think it was a blend of Robusta and Arabica.
I don't know how fresh they will be (particularly if this is the same stock from mid-late last year) - maybe the $15.99 is to clear stock out?

  • Anyone use it with a Magnifica s? Can you help me with the dialing parameters? I have done 14g beans to 29 gm extraction, dont like it.

    • Don't like it in which way?

Try adjusting the grind while it's grinding. You probably need to go up a notch or two in coarseness. What do you currently have it set as?

  • There's no roast date on them?

    • +1

Best before date Jan-2026, good chance roasted in Jan-2024.

      • I actually got it.. not bad. Finished the batch too quick. No more available in Ringwood Costco I think.

  • Couldn't find anymore at Epping Costco today, looks like they've pulled it.

    Such a shame, amazing coffee!

    • Item number is 119282, you can call your local stores to check. Plenty in Sydney, but back to $20/kg.

  • Have been enjoying this for a couple of weeks now, great coffee. Totally worth the original $20/kg, let alone $16/kg on special.

    • Think so too.
