Hi all, I am after a laptop for work/general use

I quite often open a lot of tabs when researching 20-40 tabs. I also do some video editing and other work related stuff. Lots of documents open as well. I'm after a decent battery, lightweight but decent screen 14-16inch and future proofed.

I tried Mac but no Beuno for the OS have a really difficult time installing some programs I need.

Open to suggestions.

Things I'm thinking about are a metabox or lg gram.

  20-40 tabs is not a lot. Just don't use Chrome.

  I own an LG Gram 14" 2022 - intel 1240p.
  pretty good. compact one of the best possible for the size and lightweight.

  lately starting to lag a little but I think it's windows 11 updates. horrible OS. better to go windows 10 if you do. good laptop.

  Alternatively look at MSI they also do a 13 or 14" similar laptop.

  Or Lenovo Ideapad 5 pro - AMD Ryzen cpu
