OzBargain Blocked My Librewolf Browser

Hi, my Librewolf browser has been blocked, I can still access it via Chrome.

I don't really want to use Chrome, is there anything I can do to fix this?

Update: Libre Wolf was using Firefox 91
From scotty "Firefox/91 in firewall because it was used by bots to launch DDoS"
I updated to the latest version and have no issues

    The site is getting DDoS'd so they have CloudFlare protection turned on.
    For some reason, it doesn't like Librewolf, presumably it doesn't provide an acceptable user agent.
    When the DDoS abates and they turn off the CloudFlare protection it will probably be ok.
    In the meantime, maybe set Firefox as your user agent in Librewolf?

        Sorry, I don't know enough to do tech support for CloudFlare DDoS protection, but googling that plus blocking Librewolf would be my first step.

        Latest firefox version is 122.0

        Update Librewolf?

        We explicitly blocked Firefox/91 in firewall because it was used by bots to launch DDoS. Change it to something else or use the latest Firefox.

    It's working on my Brave browser, but I keep getting blocked on the Android app. Which sucks because that's the main way I keep an eye on new posts…

        Sorry, I was unclear. My Brave browser on my PC is fine. The separate Ozbargain Android app is not working.

      OzBargain Android App might not get developed / maintained, and the best way to access OzBargain on mobile is via the web browser. Do you have any specific use for app?

        I just find it convenient more than anything else - download, login, set and forget sort of thing. If it becomes obsolete then I'll transition over to the mobile site - maybe just add the site link to my home screen so I don't have to type it into the address bar every time. But I definitely get good value out of the app, so if there's any desire (or demand) to keep it then that would be fantastic

        If the website could be properly enabled as a PWA, that would be awesome, so that iOS users can receive the "desktop" push notifications.

    I'm not blocked but it takes about 15 seconds to verify me, every time even when using Chrome.. I'm not even changing my IP or anything.

    Is this really necessary?

    For those of us who can't upgrade Firefox or Chrome further because of device limitations (e.g. older MacBook) I really hope some sort of challenge could be put in place, rather than this persistent block.

      How about a user agent changer addon as an alternative? This one lets you specify user agent for specific sites.

    Doesn't work on Brave for me either
