  +1 - I've had one for 6-12 months and it works great. I think I've recharged the rechargeable battery once (However I rarely use it - maybe once a week). The Magnetic backing is great and I store it on the side of the fridge.

  I purchased this a while back.
  It served me well especially with having the extended oven probe and alarm when cooking roast/steak. I'm pretty sure I got it for ~$15 at the time.
  By the looks of this one, it doesn't have those extras…and not sure why it needs to be waterproof. But hey, what ever floats your boat.

  Have 3 of these (I like having spares) … they are a cracking, quality product. Accurate, fast temp, long lasting battery and well made. Wouldn't hesitate to recommned to anyone, these are the fa-shiz.

  much difference between the one at bunnings? $2 more but get it instantly and easy warranty through bunnings.
