 - How does it compare to a typical 2 stroke Stihl (if you have experience with one)? - I changed to this from a Stihl petrol. A little bit less powerful but so much quieter and more pleasant to use. No regrets

 - For a few dollars get these it makes it heaps better. - https://sydneytools.com.au/product/makita-197889-6-sweeper-n… - https://sydneytools.com.au/product/makita-191l135-flat-nozzl…

 - can you use ozito batteries in this? - I believe you can buy an adapter.
 - Buy Makita Battery and Tool. You will see the difference. - is it worth the difference if this just DIY?

 - Typically the single battery (18v) tools just hang out the back… if they are wider it doesn’t matter becuase there is nothing else compiting for space. For 2 battery (36v) tools they sit side by side so you need to ensure that theres enough room for possibly wider batteries and or thr adapter.

 - Can you use this as a vacuum? - Negative
 - No. I have the 36v makita blower vac. Its pricey but I use it A LOT. Ask questions if you want answers….

 - Always worth checking Gumtree for these. Makita give them away with lots of other garden tools, like the mower I bought recently, and the pole saw kit that was posted this morning. I sold one brand new in box recently for $150, and saw plenty of others there.
 - It's also free via redemption if buying a mower
