    I had a brief skim of the emotional abuse book. It teaches you how to view anyone who expresses any opinion on what you do, with or without subtlety and regardless of whether it affects them, as an emotional abuser that you need to get rid of. In fact almost any interaction. Do they try to negoatiate for common ground? They're manipulating you! Do they treat you well? It's love bombing! If you want to learn never to compromise or accomodate someone but rather how to throw away your family and friends and isolate yourself till you have little to live for, this is the book for you. Ironically this book IS an example of emotional abuse of those who are vulnerable and are not very good at critical thinking. There ought to be stronger laws against this kind of "self-help". The writing and editing is poor too.
