I was wonder what others experience was of Ordering Prescription Glasses online.
BN had my Order and Prescription on 3 Jan, then they contacted me on 5 Jan because their own Prescription didn't have the PD on it. So I provided this on 6 Jan.
On 9 Jan, BN said 7-10 business days delivered.
Asked them "Where is order?) on 22 Jan and 30 Jan.
6 Feb and still waiting…
Maybe they send orders Offshore?
Been ordering online for decades. It's a lot cheaper than paying for optical insurance or buy-in locally. I order six pairs at once, some tinted like sunglasses. Get the prescription for free from an optometrist, convince their sales person to give you our PD or just measure it yourself, and then order online. If you got a big head make sure you get wider ones or they'll pinch. I order from Zenni I guess they make them in China. I haven'r ordered in a few years, I'm overdue. The las surviving non tinted pair I have now I cleaned with pure alcohol and it's tarnished the coating. Need to order more very soon.
I've purchased from clearly.com for my last 2 orders.
I get a couple of pairs each time , and usually pay about $14 per pair delivered.
I choose the cheapest of frames when they have great deals and end up with glasses that look pretty decent.
Thanks for sharing that. I'll look at them next time or sooner if these don't ever arrive.
Mine have usually been spot on, from memory it took exactly 2 weeks for a pair of prescription sunglasses and glasses to arrive when I ordered around October last year.
Sounds like you've had some bad luck though. Would try to get in contact with someone again.
