Prescription Goggles for Soccer

Greetings,

Does anyone has any advice on prescription goggles for soccer, really hating contact lenses :(

There are some cheap stores coming up on google search but the prices are looking very scammy and or wondering if its better off not going cheap.

Im pretty hopeless and padding out the team numbers.

Thanks!

  • Ask your optometrist or have your GP refer you to one?

  • Wouldn’t they come off when you do a header?

    • Super glue…

      • But my skill level means im highly likely to miss the ball :P

I think they are meant to be goggles

I don't wear goggles, but have used Zenni for regular glasses/sunglasses and been happy with the services and products.
They have sports goggles - prices in USD

Specsavers just ask them they do more than what's on the shelf

    • Thanks yeah just sussing out my options.
But it seems like they have to special order in so its not really any different to buying online (if they dont have a range to test).

Although im not convinced specsavers is as cheap as people think.
Like what people used to think about coles and woolies being cheap.

It could be worth investigating prescription safety glasses for football. Means you’ll get medium impact protection. Won’t be goggles as such but you could get prescription Oakley safety frame coupled with a sport strap.
