  • Seems identical to these except a lot cheaper:
    http://www.belkin.com/au/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id…

    Love these types of cases!

    • hey alexander,
i actually have one of those belkin ones,
they are thicker than the ones im selling and dont feel as nice
if i hadnt of paid $20 for it, it would be sitting in the trash right now.

  • How thin are these ones?

    • +1

the supplier said they are 0.5mm thin
im saying they are less than 1mm to be safe but they are very thin
its great because it doesnt make the iphone feel thicker and it has a nice sheen feel to the case

  • I got a similar one of these from eBay and it is pretty good. It fits the phone well, but probably wouldn't give much drop protection.

This has been fairly popular over on Whirlpool

    • hi padfoot,
at a third of the belkin price, i would think these are great value.
as for drop protection, i think it would really depend on how, where and on what the phone fell from. there are certain weak points in any construct (usually corners on mobile phones) that are prone to screen shatter.

from a case perspective, i would think that like me - most people want to protect their phone from minor drops, scratches, dirt and dust which i think these cases would be fine for :)

if your willing to buy one and review it on youtube for us, im willing to send you a replacement free of charge

  • Well, may I say I got the similar case from eBay for $1 plus free shipping? And it's also AU stock.

    • Wow, I guess someone is getting pretty good margin somewhere.

      • +1

yep, jb with their $20 belkins

You're not comparing apples with apples. You should compare your cover with the other $1 covers on ebay and not Belkin. I paid $1 with no paypal surcharge on ebay. These are all cheap generic PRC goods, and frankly the $1 and $6 covers have no difference except for their price.

        • hi Coon,
i compare the two cases because i own the belkin case myself.
as to the comparison with the $1 cases on ebay, they are shipped from hong kong or china and take up to 6 weeks to deliver.

when you buy from clickship you get an australian invoice you can use for tax purposes, you get local delivery which in most cases will be next business day and we use registered post which means you can track your item and it is shipped in a secure package.

apart from that you get local support from us, you can be a part of a growing community, you can constribute to the shape the store takes by giving us reocmmendations on how to improve our business and what kind of products to bring in.

the quality of service matters at clickship, even for a $1 product.

      hey cleverbook,
australia post shipping for registered post is about $4 so either they are shipping it direct from hong kong / china by snail mail or they are chucking a really cheap case in an unpadded envelope with a stamp.

what makes these cases special is that they are extremely thin, they clip on really tight so as to protect from dust scratches and they are shipped safely with tracking so you know when its coming and that its going to be in 1 piece when it arrives.

      • Well, the provider that I've mentioned is a Australia Seller from NSW.

But I think they've changed the prices recently, it's $5.99 now, so your deal still good. :)

        • +1

Just out of curiosity. How was the case you bought from them packaged? Was it just in an envelope with a stamp on it? How long did it take for you to receive it after payment?

I am always looking for ways to improve my business so if there is a cheaper way of operating, I will always pass the savings on

        • +1

I've purchased on last Saturday, which is 20/10/2012, and I received on Thursday, so should be OK. And the only stamp is 'POSTAGE PAID AUSTRALIA'. It was send from Chatswood NSW.

Plus, I like your attitude, it's great.

    • I will vouch for cleverbrook. These were indeed $1 shipped exactly the same. Don't even pretend that they're somehow better quality. Although, they've gone back up to $5.99 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/200824859555?ssPageName=STRK:MEWA…

      So price is nothing special

        hi tchi6 / cleverbook
thank you for your feedback - i was not aware of this ebay seller

for those who buy more than 1, put a note (i hate ebay) on your order and i will include a bonus surprise inside the pack.

otherwise we have an opaque white for those who dislike transparent cases
and a clubbers transparent neon yellow which the ebay seller does not seem to have.

meh, only $1 for generic iphone 5 covers on ebay. Used it on my iphone 5 today, fits well.

    • those who are willing to wait often get a great deal.
like those who purchased iphone 5 from kogan are still waiting for their iphone 5 but when they finally get them, they will have saved $30-80

  • +3

700 dollar phone, one dollar spent on a cover.

    • +1

      Actually it starts from $799.

  • Hi Everyone,

  • $4 now? $6 a few days ago.

    • hi chilled
i have just changed how pricing works on clickship.com.au

they were $6 with free shipping

now they are $4 with $2 shipping so it works out the same but rewards customers who buy more products by allowing them to combine shipping.

i hope that answers your question

      thanks
      Nima

  • Righteo, thankyou. Have received mine and happy with the purchase. Not sure how well it would protect specific parts of the phone that are exposed but it sure is very minimal. Hard to know anything is even attached.

    • im glad you are happy chilled. in terms of protection i think a case should protect a phone from scratches and minor drops.

im using one of the cases myself and i can tell you ive dropped my phone a dozen times (plugged into the computer charging on the table then ive knocked it to the timber floor accidentally) and my phone still looks ace.

i really liked the design of the cases because it takes the least away from the phones gorgeous design.

      thanks
      Nima
