Crap? This is a good deal for eBay Store sellers.

        • I think what justtoreply was referring to was that we used to get $0 variable fees with our eBay plus membership. Doesn’t look like it’ll happen for Feb and future months, hence why my Ouch comment

@BargainsGrabber: 30% off FVF for unlimited sales is as good as it gets for store sellers. Agree, individual sellers have missed out this round.

Promotion started 4 days ago but no activation link made yet. Classic feeBay 😂

What about us poor eBay plus victims?

    • I see benefit being Plus is non existing. I've just cancelled my membership. Also been 11 months since I've purchased on ebay.

  • would it be smart to just join ebay store sellers (yes need to pay i think) just for 1 month so we can sell at cheaper sellers fee rate?
anyone know the rates for store sellers vs non, and the fee to join store sellers, and if we can just join for 1 month?

    • +1

It seems cheaper to just create a new account and get the zero fees for now

sometimes having high and good feedback is also important, for example i will prefer buy $1000 phone on ebay from seller with 400 feedbacks compare with 0
yes i know buyer/seller protections etc

        • Agreed. I have the same concern

        • +1

Yep, exactly. I’ve worked hard to build a 100% positive feedback profile of 400 which makes selling high ticket items a lot easier. Creating a new eBay profile with 0 feedback is hardly a useful workaround

Anyone able to actually click the accept offer button?

    • +1

      No it’s greyed out.

    • i can't but i'm not a store

    • The button is there but after click it wouldn't go further.

  • OP, where did you see this advertised?

  • Does ebay charges ridiculously 15% final value fee to store sellers as they charges no-store sellers?

    Anyone knows better platforms?

    • +3

there's gumtree and facebook but they have their own problems

    • +2

Ebay is best for the spread of buyers. Other platforms charge similar for much less customer base. If they charged like 8-9% i think that would be more reasonable

      • With Paypal "gone", I think if eBay just charged a flat 5% fee,
then it would be more 'acceptable' than being charged 12-13%
and that includes the shipping/postage fee too !
( I know why they take a slice of out of the postage too, but all those rising costs add up )

  • Still not working? Wtf

  • The promo wouldn't activate after creating the store.

    • Yeah link doesn't work at all. I had a store before the deal was even posted

  • Not working.

  • Halfway through the promo period and this is still not working.

  • I asked eBay. Looks like you need to have been invited by email for this to work, in addition to having a store.

Now, for members who have not received any email on this promotion, and do not have an eBay store are not eligible for the offer.

    • Apparently nobody confirmed getting this deal.

  • Still no juice?
