  A lot of the regional newspapers got swallowed up by the Telegraph, so it would be good to be able to get free access to this also.

  Codes that give us full access for 24hrs, have I got that right?

  I can't tell if I'm misinterpreting this, because, a normal freebie advertisement here would be more along the lines of 1-3 months.

    Codes give you 24hr access, after which you can redeem a further code - no limits on redemptions but will update tags accordingly.

      One could argue that they at least pulled the story from their podcasts, but on their site the story is still up. They author even tried to call the family that was manipulated and put pressure on them to confirm the story, which to their credit they refused to do. Story still up though.

      Or it could be they are a great news outlet, except when it comes to I*rael, because the lobby will jump on them

  I only recently discovered my Library (Toowoomba) gives free access to all sorts of publications through pressreader. I can read the NY Times, Washington Post, Guardian, APC, PC Gamer, Science Illustrated, Popular Science, Fortean Times and there's lots of others I'm not really interested in.
  libby gives access to lots of books and happily for me New Scientist.
  And flipster gives me Choice Australia.
  All free just using my library card and pin.
