Cancel SQ Flight Using Redeemed Points

Hi OzBargainers,

My friend has redeemed a flight using krisflyer points. He needs to cancel his flight due to compassionate grounds. Has anyone ever cancel redeemed flights and able to share their experiences?

    I think it’s a $75 usd fee per person per flight. Then they cancel your ticket and give you your points back.
    Best to call and ask Singapore airlines what the options are.

    Going through same right now. SQ asked for a medical certificate and they have been fantastic.

    As socks said, call them. They actually answer their customer service calls within 60 seconds

    What do the T's & C's say, its dependent on the fare type.
