Jump Starter Pack Recommendations

Looking for a new Jump Starter Pack.

I've seen a lot about NOCO and they seem to be talked about a lot, but there hasn't been a deal in a while.

I've seen some ROOBOOST on Amazon which have some discount vouchers at the moment, has anyone had experience with those?

Looking for recommendations. It doesn't need to do USB charging or any other functionality, but if the price is right then sure why not? Just after a good Jump Starter Pack.

Gooloo is a common go-to and there are frequent deals, I have had mine for 3 years and many starts, still like new.

    • What model did you get?

      • I have the GT 4000 so I can start some big diesel engines.

  • I have a Noco GBX55. Is an absolute solid unit (jump started a neighbors car last week without breaking a sweat). Highly recommend them.

    • Awesome, thanks for the recommendation! I see the GB70 is currently on special at Repco for $299. $10 cheaper than Amazon

GB is old model with Micro USB! Lol .. ancient, would never buy that old version .. only buy Noco GBX versions with USB C.

What's wrong with good old fashioned push starting?

Fine if you have a manual - however they are a rarity these days.

I remember back at uni helping my wife's (girlfriend at the time) friend get their car started. They were having trouble with the timing for the ignition/pedals for a push-start so it ended up with me being in the car and the three girls pushing haha. Got it started but so 👍

      • How about a crank handle then.

    • Both cars are not manual.

  • Gooloo.
I bought off website. Arrived a few days later via auspost.

  • Just bought the GP4000 from their website.

  • Ordered my Gooloo on Monday, and arrived via Australia Post this morning. Very quick turn around and got a bonus USB charger adaptor! On charge now, so no complaints thus far.
