For the past few months, I have been purchasing Xbox gift cards from TurGame and redeeming them on my PC using a VPN (Nord). In the past week, I came across an issue where it had an error saying "Live a little, spend some money: MaxDepositLimitReached".
Now this is the weird part. I did some research and apparently MS only lets you redeem $1000USD per month in your account. However this month I have only spent around $350AUD, and last week I was trying to redeem around $25AUD. Since December however, I've put about $500AUD total.
Is there a chance MS flagged my account for redeeming so many gift cards within a few months? As at first I was doing it in denominations of 100TL and only recently started doing 300TL.
I have spoken to support and they said everything checks out. I even asked about the spend limit and they said I hadn't gone over it.
Has anyone else had this issue, and how did you fix it.
Edit: I have changed my Xbox account region to Turkey and set a Turkish billing address. I always make sure to turn on VPN when logging in.
The $1000 limit might have been set when the lira was much higher. So maybe you have redeemed $1000 worth of lira based on the 2022 exchange rate.
In any case, I'd take it easy, you wouldn't want to show up as one of the big spenders in Turkiye.
