  • Could item 3 patch a small rust hole in a cast iron bathtub that will get replaced when we renovate. One day.

      You'd have to expose it to UV for a full cure, otherwise it'll be very slow or not cure at all. Having said that, there's always a chance the tub could leak because of all water weight on it. Lastly, unless you take care of the rust (get rid of it completely), it'll just spread and the patch will eventually fall off.
      Source: I used to sell these for steel pipe's protection during horizontal directional drilling. The rolls I dealt with were 1 metre wide x 10m long though.
