My wife would like a new watch so we have been looking around and this Tissot took her fancy.
I was hoping some of the watch experts on here could provide some feedback on this watch.
Is it any good and is it worth the $885? Does it likely go on sale for a considerable discount?

Not my cup of tea, but then not much Tissot is. The important thing is that if you like it (or more importantly she likes it) which is all that's all that really matters; Tissot is still a respectable brand.

Not sure why you are being negged. Yes, if she likes it, get it. She will most likely get bored of it before it develops any issues.
As maxiboyfm3a stated, if she likes it, that's all that matters. You could spend $20k on a watch which she would appreciate no more than the Tissot.

If it was me and my misso actually said she liked something enough to say she likes it I’d just buy it.
