Non Polarised Sunglasses for Men

My car has a HUD that projects speed and nav instructions into my field of vision when driving. If I wear polarised sunglasses they block out the HUD info. I need a set of non polarised sunglasses for driving that I can leave in my car. I like the rimless metal frame uv400 style sunnies but not picky. Budget around $60-$80, chances are these will be lost, left on the table at a coffee shop somewhere in the next 18 months.

    • yep, spent hours searching on google, Amazon and ebay. Normally their algorithm spots the 'polarized' in 'non polarized' even if I search using boolean rules and only shows me polarized sunglasses. I wondered whether there are some type of bargain sunglasses preferred by the community here like there are for all sorts of other stuff such as eneloop batteries etc

Can you share with us a MS paint image of what your face looks like so we can best determine the shape of the sunglasses which will suit you.

    • Lol, I wouldnt wish that on anyone. Function is my most important feature, aesthetics not a huge factor.

  • Damn, my man is too rich for entering a chemist, servo, or Reject Shop for his disposable glasses needs

I normally send the Butler or the footman in to pay.

I faced the same issue. I wanted a clip-on non polarized, Very difficult to search as well as everything came as polarised

  • I buy my sunglasses from eyebuydirect and they have options for polarization or non-polarization.

OP, try eyebuydirect.com. They have prescription glasses, sunglasses, and magnetic and clip-on polarised and non-polarised lenses. I've ordered from them a few times and I've been really happy each time.

Why would you lose them if you leave them in your car?

Do you lose your car often?

    • I havent always left them in my car previously, leaving in the car is a new rule I'm introducing to combat the waste of losing glasses.

  • If you aren't picky why not just pick up a cheap pair from the servo? Pretty sure servos sell cheap sunglasses which should cost a lot less than $60.
