What's The Latest with Microwaves and Stick Vacuums?

Hi All,

Recently renovated our house and currently on the market for a microwave and stick vacuum.

We have a nice oven and air fryer so don't need a microwave/oven. Just need a microwave to heat food fast. We have a space in the pantry but for some reason built in mircrowaves are always oven combo's. Can anyone suggest where to find a nice built-in microwave that is only a microwave preferably at a decent price.

Also, whats the latest with stick vacuums? Had the Dyson V10 and Dreame V10. These seem to be still best bang for the buck. But they are so dated. What is the OB go to these days?

All microwaves can be built in, either with a trim to match the finish of your kitchen doors or for selected models with a trim kit.
If you go appliances online and search “trim kit” in the microwave section, you will see sharp Panasonic Ilve etc kits and the respective model numbers they fit. They don’t have to be convection microwaves.

    • Cheers mate. Now I just need to find me a nice microwave.

As far as microwaves are concerned: MXene-coated devices can guide microwaves in space and lighten the payload (https://phys.org/news/2024-02-mxene-coated-devices-microwave…)

With stick vacuums, took a bit of research but: 5 things our stick vacuum experts would never do (https://www.choice.com.au/home-and-living/laundry-and-cleani…)

I find the microwaves without a rotating plate allows for bigger items to be put into the microwave. I’d definitely be looking for that with my next one.

  • No vacuum in microwave noted.

Any stick vacuums that stay outside of microwave going to be recommended?

  • How'd you go here, I'm looking for a mid size microwave...easy to clean and good at warming up leftovers and making rice...
