They are only worth that, i bought a Pryml box like this about 3 years ago same price same discount and most of it is junk, its okay for the price.
These are almost always $39.99… and theyre barely worth that.
You could easy get $30 back for that "mini-machete" down in Springvale and surrounding suburbs. 😉
What would you recommend instead then as starter kit?
Where and how are you fishing? Fishing gear is really dependent on the environment you are in (eg. region, time, method of access to water - ie. pier, rocks, beach, boat etc.).
For inshore/estuary fishing, I always recommend starting with soft plastics these days. Much cleaner and lighter than bait fishing and you don't really need anyone to show you the ropes other than watch some YouTube guides like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T2zq7GxmngA

Not worth.
Fishing gear is a massive rabbit hole but a nice pail bucket from Bunnings will set you back $10 and you can grab pliers, scissors and fish grip at a ~$2-3 dollars per item from eBay or AliExpress.
Hooks and other tackle stuff in this is going to be really cheap stuff which is not a bad idea when you are starting out… but you can also find these boxes for really cheap else where any way.
I guess if you have literally no gear at all, it's not a complete rip-off but if you are fishing with someone else or have some experience fishing before, you will quickly realise what you need for fishing in the environment you are in and half of the things in this box will be just useless.
Think they had this for about $20 around 6 months ago.
Bough one two months ago - it's just average. I'd purchase again if I wanted convenience but otherwise I'd just buy thru aliexpress / Bunnings / eBay as previous comments
